DIRECTOR: The Goat Walker

When the State cannot provide its citizens with any job, it comes out with rather unconventional ideas. This intriguing documentary tells the story of several poor families that were given a goat by the local authorities, not only for supplying teir families with cheese and milk, but also to be encouraged in developing a sense of responsibility. An Amusing and often bizarrely insightful look at the adaptation a nation, Goat Walker is like nothing you’ll ever see again. -AHS Bartek Konopka attended the Andrzej Wajda Masterschool, Warsaw. convinced the jury with his proposal for Goat Walker - the Way of the Goat and will receive the prize during Awards Night. He's earned recognition outside of Poland by winning last year Planete television's international contest for a documentary project. Screening with The Cure The famous Polish spa Ciechocinek is visited each year by thousands of people. In a short period of time they want to be cured and feel better - both physically and emotionally. A wonderful film that brims with the good old days, revealing a world that surprisingly still exists. Directed by Maciej Cuske.
